Reunion poll!!

Katie Johnson Hansen emailed me the other day. She wondered if I could do a poll of the upcoming 10 year reunion. Leave a comment below or email her at cachekennels@hotmail.com or me at chareebmc@gmail.com on what you think. The questions are:

What do you think would be fun? theme?
When: June, July, Aug. Sept. etc. (Summer or Fall)
Who: You and your partner/spouse only or Families?
Where: Park, restaurant, school?
Help: Are you able to help with this? Local? Team member?
and so on!!!

Katie has posted the same thing on Classmates.com and if you are a member of Facebook or Blog spread the word. The 10 year is going to happen, we just need as much help and inspiration as possible. Thank you for leaving your thoughts and comments on the emails or below.

Thanks again!!!

I say, keep it simple...preferably before August so I won't be so huge and pregnant, families would be fun, and depending on what you do will depend on my availability to help :)

Good luck!

The cheaper you do it the more people will be willing to come.

I'd rather have a reunion sometime when it's not super hot, May or early June or in the fall. Keep it simple. No need to stress about it!

wow, 4 comments, charee, nice! this will be a big shindig! ;D

ok, i say early like may june before hotness comes. i also say a park with families and activities and easy food like yuck hotdogs and burgers, whatever is simple. have everyone bring something and keep it cheep. people wont come if it is 'spensive...

Perhaps in the fall, after we all have our summer tans!

I love to show off my family, but I won't get much catching up done if I am chasing kids all day. I vote for adults only. (Plus, my husband and I have a deal to leave the other one home for these things.)

No suggestions on theme, well, the Prince song "1999" comes to mind. Cheesy perhaps, but part of catching up with people from those old times reminds me of the rest of life from that era.

My sister's year did a small family picnic during the day & then a Ice Cream social (Talk with Heather Merril or Andrea Allen to get Ice Cream) in the evening for the adults. You could come to both or choose one or the other. Class of 2008 - did a golf tournament in the mornig for all of the the guys that wanted to sign up! Sounds fun. I vote for mid to late June. Theme: A carnival type for the family picnic. We own a snow cone building & would love to bring it. And by then we might own a jumpy house. Mack Park seemed to be a good location for a picnic. Sky View is a good location for Evening event. It would be probably be free & large enough to accomidate lots of people. They have made a lot of changes since we have been there. It might be fun to see. Theme: For an evening event - Beach or something Glam - it would give us a reason to dress up & get pretty. Chris Jordan, T.J. Davis & Mike Lee all have bands - they could be our entertainment. Have a people submit photos of our highschool days & make a big slide show to show in the auditorium. Scott Mortensen planned the class of 2008 & may have some good feedback of things to do & not to do!

It depends on the amount of time you are wanting to spend on everything. For my husbands reunion, there was adult social time friday night, a family picnic saturday, and an adult dinner that night. If I were to pick out of the 3 activities ... I thought that the adult dinner the last night, was the most fun. That was the activity that most showed up to and everyone was sharing their funny stores. They also had the yearbooks all lined up to look at -- I thought it was fun to look at how much everyone had changed even though I didn't know any of them.

I say June would be great. I would prefer to just do an adults only dinner. I don't get much socializing in when the kids are running around!
